The University of Minnesota's Software Engineering Center brings you the
7th annual CodeFreeze symposium open to all software engineering
professionals. This year's program chairs are David Hussman of DevJam
and Mike Whalen from the U of Minnesota and their program promises to
make for an exciting day.
Code Freeze 2012 focuses on the topic of continuous delivery. Getting
software released to users is often a painful, risky, and time-consuming
process. This workshop focuses on principles and practices that enable
rapid and repeatable deployment of high-quality releases to users.
This requires automation and integration in build, test, and deployment
tools as well as coordination between development, testing, and
operations teams. Participants will be challenged to ponder how
to best deploy systems and all questions and suggestions will be welcomed.
Thursday, January 12
8:00am - 5:00pm
University of Minnesota's McNamara Alumni Center (200 Oak St. SE.)
Cost for the full day is $95 for the general public and $80 for alumni
of the Software Engineering (MSSE) and Computer Science (CS) programs.
