Attracting, Motivating and Retaining Software Engineers

Date of Event:
Thursday, June 7, 2001 - 6:00pm
The June Twin-SPIN program was on "Attracting, Motivating and Retaining Software Engineers".

What motivates software engineers in their work? How can we increase the potential for attracting and retaining software engineers? These are questions that prompted a research project done by Diane Maki, our guest speaker for the June Twin SPIN meeting. Diane will describe how she conducted her research and talk about how the research findings can be put into practice.
