This Month’s Meeting Topic:

"State of the QA Profession Trissential Survey Update and Best Practices for Testing with Agility"

Speaker:

Molly Doyle – Trissential

Abstract:

Our profession continues to evolve at a break-neck pace.  But what is really happening out there?  We will present the survey results from TCQAA’s 2nd bi-annual “State of the QA Profession” and share our findings from your feedback about the use of automation, the employment of Agile models, trends in certifications, current compensation ranges, and much more!

This information will be followed by a presentation from Trissential SQS on “Best Practices for Testing with Agility”, including how to:

·         get testing in the same sprint as development

·         elevate the role of the “manual tester”

·         develop greater testing speed and agility through risk based testing

·         apply TDD/BDD/ATDD judiciously

·         accomplish greater coverage with fewer tests

·         establish and manage metrics that actual mean something

Program Manager:

Larry Green - Trissential
