TwinSPIN Program Planning for Meetings September 2018 - June, 2019.   

Speakers: TwinSPIN members interested in planning next year's programs

The agenda for the meeting is:

 

  • New agenda items
  • Program performance review (September 2017 - May 2018)
  • Possibly meeting theme for the year
  • Meeting topic brainstorming
  • Topic refinement and speaker selection
  • Program manager assignment

 

Our goal at the end of the meeting is to have a theme and a tentative schedule for next year with Program Managers identified, potential topics, and speakers selected.

 

Abstract:

Planning has started - Pat O'Toole, who is in Minnesota during the summer, has agreed to talk on August 9th. The subject will be an update of the new version of CMMI 2.0. It is an August meeting but Pat is always a great speaker.

Twin-SPIN Mission Statement:
The Twin-SPIN software process improvement network (SPIN) is a regional organization established in January of 1996 as a forum for the free and open exchange of software process improvement experiences and ideas. Representatives from industry, government, academia, other professional organizations, and consultants are welcome to participate. Our mission is to help sustain commitment and enhance skills in the area of software process improvement through an active program of networking and mutual support. The organization strives to serve as a source of educational and experiential information for its members, other SPIN organizations, and the general community of software professionals.
