About the Speaker:

Pascal Roy is a Senior Consultant with Object Mentor Inc.

Pascal has been teaching the practices Extreme Programming (XP), a lightweight development process, to Object Mentor clients for the past few months.

Prior to Object Mentor, he was Director of Software Development for Wavo Corporation, a Phoenix based data broadcasting company. There, he gained practical experience implementing XP while managing the development of an internet based data broadcasting application.

Other prior accomplishments include working on a 2D animation software for Toon Boom Technologies of Montreal. He also worked on developing real-time industrial control systems, data acquisition and 2D/3D data visualization software in C++ for Ultra Optec Inc., a Montreal based high tech company specialized in laser ultrasonic non destructive
inspection systems for the aerospace industry.

He acquired a B.S. in electrical & computer engineering from L'Ecole Polytechnique de Montreal in 1989.

Pascal now lives in Scottsdale, Arizona, with his wife and two kids.
